When it comes to the LSAT, there is no end of anxiety. Many students worry about ask about appropriate timing devices.
LSAT (or GMAT GRE MCAT, etc.) Test Timers
Each of these tests is administered under strict time constraints. Your score is NOT a measure of whether you can answer LSAT questions. It is a measure of how effectively you answer the questions relative to other test takers. It is imperative that you:
1. Practice under strict time constraints;
2. Know exactly how to pace yourself; and
3. Have a timer to use for proper pacing.
4. Have a timer that meets the guidelines specified by the testing organization.
For example, LSAT requires that you have a timer that meets the following specifications:
"You may take a noiseless watch or small, personal, noiseless timer to the test center. Your timer may not have key panels or additional functions. No multitasking electronic timers are permitted. Alarm, calculator, and beeping watches are not permitted."
