Question 2: Will A Graduate Degree Help?
Yes, a graduate degree is helpful. But, high graduate grades will not compensate for low undergraduate grades. (Of course, you probably couldn't get into graduate school without high undergraduate grades anyway!) The only legitimate reason for going to graduate school is because you are interested in studying that subject. If you have a graduate degree you should contact the law schools individually to determine what role (if any) your graduate degree may play in your application to law school.
Bottom line: Graduate education is a good thing in your application file. But, it is hard to say exactly how it will be weighed. Consider the following comment from a law school:
"Grades obtained for work done in graduate schools are not used as part of the GPA but are considered when assessing the qualifications of applicants."
